I could get my hands on the Gainward GTX 970 (the regular one) for about 75% of the price. Do you think I should buy that or wait for something better, or maybe the GTX 970 prices will go even lower in the near future? I never bought a graphics card in my life, so I don't want to make a wrong step

Thanks!

2.5 slot. Worst design for midrange ever. Stick to EVGA.

The Gainward semi-reference card luckily takes only 2 slot. It's the phantom one which takes up 2.5 and that really troubles me as well. But what troubles me about the regular card is that the fan is supposedly very loud, and I want things as quiet as possible.

I'd be more than satisfied with the EVGA card, only if it had darn minidisplay port :( But then again, I am probably spoiled and I want to hook up my 24" LED Cinema display into it easily and in the future at least two 27" ones
