I am curious if it is possible to buy a macbook pro online and then if I need to return it for any reason (new model comes out in the next few days) I could return it to a physical store and get the new version.
A little background info: My new job is going to buy me a laptop. However, the fiscal year is ending this week and they need to buy it before Wednesday. Say they do order the MBP for me, and a week later an upgrade comes out. Is there any way I can walk into an Apple store and just trade the old version for the new one provided I haven't opened the box?
I guess another problem might be because I wasn't the one who bought it (my company did), so I don't know how that might work. Any pieces of helpful info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
