Other Buy the 11 Pro Max now or wait for the 12?

My current phone is iPhone 11
And the battery really s*cks!!!
I also go and worry about the phone dying all the time.

I have decided to sell the iPhone 11 and buy the 11 Pro Max.
Because I have heard that the battery on the 11 Pro Max is very very good.

I also read somewhere that the iPhone 12 is just around the corner. Is that true?

Should I buy the 11 Pro Max now or wait for the 12 Pro Max?

ok because something is really wrong with my 11
Today i charged it to 50%
I used the phone for 30 minutes. Listening to Spotify. Checking facebook. Checking mail etc.
Then I checked the battery it dropped to 40%
I was pretty chocked!!
 
Depends... do you have to have the latest and greatest? The fact that you're running an iPhone 11 means that this is probably the case more than not. I'd definitely recommend waiting until the announcements, then make your decision, instead of making a decision now and regretting it for a year (depending on your financial situation).

Even the 11 Pro Max can be drained with heavy use. Both my wife and I have this phone. She uses her phone a LOT more than I do. I end the day at 87% and she can be charging at 6:00pm. :p

That drop doesn’t sound normal and could be a battery issue or an errant app. You should troubleshoot and/or get your phone seen to. Besides, while the Pro Max has a larger battery, you‘d be purchasing very late in the cycle. Definitely wait.

i bought the phone 4 months ago and I have 98% battery health.
I have restored it with itunes but same problem with battery

If you purchased your phone within a year (totally possible as it's been 1 year and 9 days since launch), warranty claim w/ Apple?

Hm im skipping the iPhone and getting the samsung s20 with that beautiful 120hz screen. The iPhone 12 Will probably stick to the 60hz screen anyways

Er, Samsung owner here. The S20’s battery has a lower watt hour rating than the 11‘s. My S9’s performance is nothing to write home about after 2+ years of usage.

i heard the s20+ has good battery and that the screen is flawless.
But I love iOS :-(
 
First you mention the S20 then talk about the + version. Do yourself a favor: since you love iOS, get your 11 checked as I and others have suggested, and wait for the iPhone event due in a fortnight 😊

On the other hand, if you have cash to fling around buying new flagships on a whim, go ahead. Feel free to send me one too 😂 I’d happily accept. Good luck!

i was talking about the plus model however i will get my 11 checked. The battery drain is insane. Also the battery isnt dropping 1%, I just had 66% and checking after 10 minutes I have 63% now so it dropped 3% right the way:-(

Sounds like my S9 😂 I’m in battery hell despite knowing how to maintain storage, apps and settings (basically babysit Android), so I feel your pain. Waiting for this year’s announcements and possibly my first iPhone. Hang in there.

Im pretty mad I paid 900 dollars for the phone and it behaves like this.
Will you be getting the pro model?
 
Don’t worry, you paid $900 for much more than just the phone. Apple’s warranty and after sales service is good. Doesn’t excuse them from selling you what might have been an unfortunate dud, but you do have peace of mind in getting issues fixed.

I’m interested in the iPhone ‘Mini’; don’t feel the need for flagships anymore. If the Pro has a compelling telephoto camera (among other obv benefits) though I could be tempted.
 
Unless you have a warranty you can change the battery yourself, it's pretty simple.

Weird this is happening because the iPhone 11 has a very good battery.
 
I’d be getting a replacement with Apple as the battery on the 11 shouldn’t be performing like that.

Then again if you are asking whether or not you should be paying full retail price for an 11 Pro just two weeks before it’s superseded by the 12, I think you’ll just follow your heart anyway
 
leaks have it as oct 13th announcement and oct 16th for pre order for the 12 mini and 12 with oct 23rd release for 12 mini and the 12 then oct 30th pre order for pro and pro max with a nov 6th release date. again these are leaked so take them as you will
