just purchased the iPad Pro 12.9 512...is it normal to have buyers remorse lol.....

Hm, everyone can only speak for themselves. I sometimes don’t like to spend huge amounts of money.

But let me ask you : don’t you have two weeks no questions asked return period if you buy from Apple? Give the thing a try and send it back if you don’t like it.

Yep we're all different. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my 12.9 LTE 256GB. Not gonna lie - it took courage to drop money on it and I had to justify it using the $200 discount Verizon gave for signing up for 2 years of service but meh . . worth every penny thus far.

I'm thinking the newer iPad Pros are going to be even more expensive so more so I'm appreciative to have gotten in when I did. iOS 12 on this thing has me satisfied for now in general.

I had buyer’s remorse with my 10.5 64gb. I had already purchased an iPad 5th gen, and honestly didn’t see enough difference or benefit to justify double+ the cost. So I returned the 10.5 within the return window.

I think I’m going to like it I just hated spending all that money....lol I’m a broke graduate student lol

If you’re a broke student, why would you need the most expensive top of the line iPad? The 6th gen at half the price has about the same functionality with an excellent display. I’d think you could use the cash savings better elsewhere.

I did have buyers remorse at first when I got the 12.9 iPad Pro in 2015. Only because I hadn’t been a big iPad user at all. I had my MBP and iPhone and I did have an iPad 2 for awhile I ended up selling it due to lack of use. This was different though! Especially once iOS 11 dropped! Now My MBP is suffering that fate of not being used LOL.

Everyone says that I’m going to like it so it was an investment for me.....I’ll feel better when I get it in my hands.....I have a MacBook Air and everyone says that it’s gong to collect dust once I get used to the iPad Pro lol

I would have buyers remorse if I bought it right now too. They are about to announce new ones so either the one you have now will be sold for a lot less very soon or you can get a brand new one instead.

I’m a little different. Everything I’ve seen leaked about the new iPad Pro it’s not really my cup of tea. I think I should be okay with the one I just bought and so far I love it. Looks like I was worried for nothing lol

I had buyer's remorse when I bought my first iPad, the Air 2. Then the same when I upgraded to the 10.5 iPP. Remorse soon turned into "I should have done this sooner" in both cases, with no lingering regrets. I tend to get the same feelings with any expensive buy.

That’s what I wanted to hear I think I just was acting crazy since it was an expensive buy

You’re going to have major buyers remorse when the October event happens. Probably the biggest change to an iPad since iPads were invented. I’d return it and get a refund, then get the new 12.9.

I won’t have any regrets I’m not too crazy about the new ipads....I’m not convinced they’re better so I’ll be okay

Enjoy the new iPad. They have great screens and the audio, on my previous iPad Mini, I had to use a bluetooth speaker all the time. I haven't once paired it with my iPad Pro 10.5. They are quite adequate!

This is why Apple is worth 1 trillion. They have manage to develop such a strong brand that broke college students will purchase top of the line items such as iPad Pros, Macbook Pros and iPhones.

Apple is sitting on huge cash reserves and long term it's a good play for them to diversify. If the student loan and auto loan bubble bursts like the '08 one for homes then things could get ugly and Apple won't be able to rely on increased profits from increasing prices on their products.

I would return it. Mine has had freezing issues shortly after buying it. On my second one now. They willhave to replace this one too.
It’s a shame too because I really like this big 12.9 screen.

I'd return it because 1) we really don't know what new features will be in the next model; and, 2) even if you decide those features aren't for you, you can get the previous generation (what you bought now) for a bit cheaper once the next model comes out.

Really, we're probably just a few weeks away from the release of new models.

I had some buyers remorse for my 2017 12.9 ipad pro. I came to not like the pencil for writing, missed
keyboard undo's and hated that the ios apps lacked instant cut and paste integration with my windows
desktop computer. I went back to my 2013 13.3 vaio duo--which has a much more realistic pen feel for
handwriting. However, I grew to value the ipad for artwork: the aspect ratio is much better for
art than the duo's 16:9, the pencil feel is less of a problem sketching, and instant integration is less
important.

Even if you give up on the 12.9 pro, you can likely sell it for at least $400-$500 or more.
