Buying 4GB MBA in UK Apple Stores

Does anyone know whether the UK Apple Stores normally stock the 4GB versions? It seems the stores in US do but those in Australia don't, so its not the same everywhere. I'm overseas at the moment but want to buy one in the few days that I am back in the UK before my next trip and therefore cannot buy online. Experience of the stock in the Newcastle and Gateshead MetroCentre stores would be particularly useful.

I'm not sure which model I will buy yet but will be trying out to see which suits me most.

When I bought mine back in November you could only get the 4GB on line...

When I asked somebody in the Covent Garden store about buying a 13" Ultimate they said they do keep them in stock (But they didn't at the time hence why I ordered on line)

I just ordered a 13" with 4GB Ram, had to get it online as my local apple reseller and apple store didn't have them.

It did take over a week to deliver though - it was a killer wait, but totally worth it!
