iPad Buying a iPad 6th generation wifi cellular for my friend

I’m buying my sisters iPad 6th generation Wi-Fi cellular version from her and giving it too my friend , i have a few quick questions before buying it off her. Is this version good for media consumption like Facebook and general browsing the web , he refuses to upgrade from the 6s and I’m dying to give him something bigger too consume content on. Is the iPad still a good machine?

The 6th Gen iPad is perfect for that, I have 2 kids that use the 6th gen perfect for web browsing, YouTube and some games.
