I think I already know the answer to this question but I just wanted to check with some of the more seasoned Apple purchasers among you.

If I go into an Apple retail store today and pick up a MBA, and then Monday rolls around and a 2011 refresh appears on the Apple store, can I take it back to the retail store and return it in favour of the newer model after I've opened it all up and used it a little?

Alternatively, if I go into an Apple retail store today and pick up a MBA, and then Monday rolls around and a 2011 refresh appears on the Apple store and the price of the model I buy drops, can I get the difference refunded?

I'm assuming the answer to both of these questions is yes, but I'd like to check first.

The standard return policy is in effect. The reason does not matter. In your case, with the time line proposed, the answer would be yes. But to make sure, check your receipt for any odd wording. :)

Yes, but I think you are entitled to get a refund for the full amount, not only for the price difference.
