iPad Pro Buying a new Cellular iPad from Apple. Can I use my existing Verizon SIM?

I probably will be buying a Cellular 12.9 IPP from Apple to replace my 2020 11 IPP, which is also cellular. Can I just swap my existing SIM or do I need a new Verizon SIM?

Usually this is a simple SIM swap, unless you have your iPad purchased under contract or plan.
