I am going to buy a new Mini this week. The following is a series of dumb questions. (Although it has been said, "The only dumb question is the one you don't ask"):)

Not sure if I'll get the low end or mid range model. I guess it will depend on the offered options, GPU, quad core, storage, price, etc. I would like to upgrade the RAM, 16 gig is $82 at Crucial. I can do that myself. I would also like to get a SSD, probably from Crucial as well, 128 gig about $116.00. I don't think I want to take that on.
Any thoughts on who I could get to do the SSD install?
I don't know how much Apple would charge for a SSD but I know it will be too much!
If buying online from Apple does the Mini come with OS installed? Or do I have to download it?
I would like to have a SSD and a HHD in the unit. Is it correct to have the system loaded on the SSD?
I would also like to install Windows 7, what would the best way to do that? Partition the SSD and install Mountain Lion in 1 partition and Win 7 in another? I'm not even sure I'm asking the right questions so I'll stop here and see if I get any response, thanks.

A local Apple tech should be able to, yes, probably the best way to go, and yes.

But seriously, wait like an hour and we'll all have a much better idea of what exactly we're looking at :)

Thanks. I am watching the event blog since you have to have a Mac to watch the presentation real time. Not a great way to get Windows crossover customers?
