Buying a US iPad and using in the UK

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could comment on the following.

My auntie is coming to visit me in the UK from Virginia at the beginning of April and I could get her to buy me the 32gb iPad i long for.

They key question is, other than power adaptor, will there be any downfalls to me having a US iPad, in the UK?

As long as your carrier supports the micro-SIM it should work for the 3G model,

for they Wi-Fi, wouldn't matter at all.

If the power supple is like the iPhone’s isn't it automatically switching?

I have 3 and they all say 110-250V auto-switching on them, so presumably you just would need to change the click on bit that goes in-to the socket?
