Opinions about what, they're both good machines.

If you want opinions on which one your should get then let us know how you intend to use it.

BTW if the seller promises software then make sure they supply the original media. This also includes the original OS X install disc and iLife install disc. If they don't I'd walk away, it's a good sign how responsible the seller is. Some on these forums will tell you that you can get replacement dvds for OS X and iLife and that is correct however it will a) cost you and b) give you and indication how well the seller takes care of his possessions.

Very good points, thanks for that. I will ask the seller about the DVDs.
I intend on replacing a PC office computer with one of these. Nothing really graphic intensive, but would like to know which of these has best value.

Personally, I think the 21.5" is a bit too small. I have 24" iMac and I think the screen size is great, although I would prefer the new 27" of course. Speed wise, they are quite equal.

Both are overpriced though, you can get 21.5" i3 iMac for 929$ from refurb store. That comes with full warranty and is faster than the ones you listed. Offer 700$ or 750$, otherwise go with the refurb.

Yes I did end up getting a new 21.5" iMac from the refurb store :)

Thanks!
