hey all. I'm looking at buying a used iPad Pro 9.7 off of kijiji. My worries are that it will be a fake Chinese copy? Is there anyway I can verify I get a good unit? I'm also going to be getting a Apple Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. Is there anyway to verify that these are not knock offs? Any help would be appreciated, thank you kindly.

You could ask for the hardware serial number from the buyer and put it into apple's warranty coverage check web page to see if its a legit apple product.

Also if the deal is too good then It's probably some type of scam. Remember the golden rule,
"If it seems too good to be true, it probably is".

I don't anything about "Kijiji." But if applicable, research the seller history and make sure you don't See any other obscurities. As another forum member stated, request for the serial number or additional pictures to verify any other information.

Is there anyway to check if the Pencil and Smart Keyboard are authentic?

Both of those products should have Apple serial numbers as well. You could request identification for both of those products and confirm legitimacy with Apple.
