I was ready to pull the trigger on a base M3 Pro MBP, until I saw that they only support 2 external monitors.

I know the Mac mini Pro M2, Mac Studio and M3 Max MBP can support up to 3 external monitors, but not really sure if they can support 3 high resolution + high refresh rate monitors.

To your knowledge which option can support 3 5k monitors or 3 4k 120hz monitors?

My set up now is 1 1440P and 2 1080P monitors but I hope to upgrade to at least 3 4k120 hz in the future and want to make sure the device I purchase can handle at least that.

I have 3 external monitors + internal display set up on my base 2018 MBP now, my issue was trying to have the three externals on a single cable/docking station, so I wont need to upgrade at this point. I do find it odd that newer more powerful models can't handle 3 external displays.
