Buying advice...

So, I'm debating a Mac Mini vs iMac at this point. In particular the i7 models of each. I plan on some video editing and some light gaming. I'd also have to buy keyboard, mouse and monitor if I went the mac mini route.

Any input?

iMac will probably be cheaper and better spec.
The iMac uses desktop not laptop parts.
the iMac has a beautiful display.
the iMac is quad core + dedicated GPU

always a tough choice if you want a bigger screen but in your case since you want a normal monitor the 21.5 inch iMac offers a lot

below is the top of the line with the better graphics card 1gb ,but the 6970. the list is 2199 as a refurb it is 400 less

iMac since you will be gaming will be the best choice to make, If you really not playing any graphical games then the Mac mini i7 2011 will be a good choice

Because of all this^^^ I would go with an iMac.
