Buying an 27" iMac with an i7 cpu in Manhattan 5th avenue store

Hi I am travelling to New York this month and I want to pick up a 27" iMac with the i7 cpu. Does anyone here know if they carry these in stock or if it is only possible to buy these online from Apple. It would also be great to get suggestions to other stores in Manhattan that might have these in stock.

I did actually call them twice, the first time they said didn't carry them in store and today they said they had them but no reservations. A little confusing. So I was wondering about the experiences of other forum members regarding this. I really want to get this machine while I'm in NY
