so i am stuck on two of these. I will be using the imac for photo editing some video editing, and some cs source. Not sure if i am better off getting the one with the better video card or the i5. So what would be my best bet ?

1) Apple iMac 27" 3.2GHz Intel Dual Core i3 4GB RAM 1TB HD SuperDrive ATI Radeon HD 5670-512Mb

2) Apple iMac 27" 2.66GHz Intel Core i5 4GB RAM 1TB HD SuperDrive ATI Radeon HD 4850-512 Mb AP BT

The usual new vs refurb debate.

I haven't used the i3, went for the i5 refurb and it's a beaut.I would definitely buy refurb again.

i believe the i5 is an older model is it still quad core ?
Also do you think apple will update their imacs anytime soon ?

It is a late '09 model cpu, but still more powerful than the clarkdales that were released at the very start of '10.
Lynnfields are quadcore, yes.

Apple just refreshed their iMac lineup in July with clarkdales, higher clocked lynnfields and mobility 5k gpus, don't expect another update until next spring/summer.
