Well, having owned the 2G iPhone (getting a contract in my parents name) which seems like forever ago I wanted to buy the iPhone 3GS.
Here is the problem, I was just speaking to my friend about it and he tried to buy his contact on his 18th birthday and he claimed that the salesman in the shop would not let him buy it because he wasn't counted as an 18 year old "until the day after" (He did not want to purchase an iPhone but another phone on contract)
I turn 18 tomorrow (or exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes as I write this) and just wanted to know what are the chances of getting rejected and looking like a fool when I go to purchase one at the store tomorrow morning at around Midday-ish.
The whole point of waiting till my 18th birthday was so I could get one in my own name otherwise I could have bought one on the release date and it's just so I don't have to fanny around with all the crap when I phone up and it's like bla bla you need the registered users name.
I live in the UK, and the provider is ofcourse O2.
Thanks!
