So i want a mac mini TODAY! :)

And im only going to use it next to the TV for xbmc etc.

Do i really have a benefit waiting for the next revision? Yes i will get some boost in cpu peformance but its not like i need it for xbmc. Same with the upgrade to intel igp.

So should i just pick one up after work or wait

The Ivy Bridge will only boost speeds of about 10% more, which isn't a great deal. The biggest difference will be in the GPU boost which is going to be a 4000 series, which may boost up to about (my estimate) 100mb better graphics performance but seeing as you aren't going to need it for anything other than a media platform in your living room I'd get one now :)

Just get the entry level i3 on Amazon, it's like 15% cheaper and you get the full warranty. Plus like chrisrosemusic1 said, you won't need it for anything intensive so it's more than enough.

thanks guys, dont have amazon, but i orderd from a norwegian site, where i can pick up the same day.

So as soon as im off work, im going to collect it, along with the harmony one remote :D

cant wait
