Buying Dell 1704FPT- Questions

Hi Everyone.

I think I am going to buy a Dell 1704FPT monitor. I am making sure that this is a good monitor.

- 17" Ultrasharp
- 500:1 contrast ratio
- 12ms response time
- DVI and VGA connectors

I was also wondering if it comes with DVI Cable to use with my powerbook.

It should come with the DVI cable. As long as you have the mini DVI to DVI adapter you should be all set.

I don't see any reason to get a 17" with a powerbook. The resolution of the screen of the powerbook is the same or better then most 17" (including this dell) can offer. Save a little bit more and go for a bigger screen, or save your money and don't buy one!
