Buying DigiCam, Olympus ?

I have a choice between the Olympus stylus 710 or the 810. The 810 obviously more money but they are pretty much both the same camera. The 710 is a decent amount lighter which is great. I compared them on the olympus website. I do graphic design, vfx compositing editing and some 3d work. Digital cam is def necessary for me for taking pictures of textures and such. Id like to hear what you guys think. The 710 is 7.1 megapixels while the 810 is 8.1. Both seem very good. Thanks for the help

If you have the money go for the 810. The lens seems a bit better, it has a larger aperture a bit more range.

Why those two? Why not the SP-350? the 350 seem a better camera.

But then it's hard to say which is best for you if I don't know your criteria for selecton. Why not an evolt or a Nikon D200? You have to list out what's importent to you. I'd take the SP series camera.
