i know this has been discussed several times. If you put 2 * 2 GB ram in a new Imac it sees as 3.

My question is if there is a reason to put 2*2 ? Or is it totaly useless.

Today I run paralles on 1 gb machine it was slow. BUt i dont blame because i had other things open. I bought 1 GB ram i ll arrieve soon. but now i m thinking if I made mistake by not buying 2 * 2 or at least 1 single 2 GB
