i don't live in uk,i live in kuwait.

we have apple stores and it is very expensive.

the imac come with 1 year warranty, can i use it in my country ?

how can i proof that my imac have warranty ? is there a warranty paper comes in the box ?

also any advantage/disadvantage for buying from ebay ?

There is no official Apple support in Kuwait so it might be problematic to get support for Macs that were not bought from the specific reseller. Your best bet is to ask the resellers what is their policy.

yeah that what i was thinking, i will call them later.

by the way,how did you know that there is no official apple support in my country ?

I looked at Kuwait's Apple site and under the support, they only mention resellers, no official telephone number or anything like that.

ok,one more ?

Nobody buys from EBAY. They are just a marketplace. You are buying from someone advertising on EBAY. Probably not a authorized dealer, and potentially used. In these cases the warranty starts at the time of original sale, not when you buy it, so some or all of the warranty might be used up when you receive the unit.

Importing or not, it's best to stick with authorized dealers.
