I am contemplating on buing and iphone tomorrow but i have a few qestions before I purchase the phone.

I currently use a blackberry on my work business line. my plans are to once 1.1.2 is sin unlocked hack my phone and use it on my business line with a normal data-plan.

For the time been i would like to make sure I can do the following.

Jail break a brand new iphone and not have to activate. I do not want to have to pay for a monthly plan until the 1.1.2 is hacked. i want to use the iphone just like a ipod for the time being.

Are there an good site s that have step by step jailbreak instructions?

Thank you in advace for any help ad happy holidays

Ok to answer a few of your questions here are my answers:

1. iPhone is not SOFTWARE unloackable if it is Out of the Box 1.1.2 firmware.

2. I have read in many place (including Apple.com) that buisiness plans for iPhone don't work.

3. As for jailbreaking

this guide is very good.

4. It is better to have an Unlimited Data Plan or no Data Plan at all with an iPhone. The reason is iPhone consumes alot of Data from EDGE and a normal plan would be *VERY* expensive, whilst unlimited cheap.

Hope these answers help you out and Happy Holidays!
