Buying iTunes Match with a Gift Card

So I was just wondering, is it possible to purchase iTunes Match if I have $25 in gift codes on my account? Because I don't have a credit card, and my Paypal got banned, so I have no other way to get it. Thanks.

No! There are a lot of people that use them, without putting in a CC#.

You may use store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription however a valid payment method must still be on file at the time of sign up.


So I need somone of that "lot of people" to confirm if its possible to subscribe without us credit card.

i think you can put in cc info and then remove it later.

It didn't work for me. I tried without having a cc on file. bummer.

I think not having a cc only works with the gift cards for regular purchases, such as apps and music.

Since iTunes Match is a subscription service, it makes sense that they would want one on file.

when it was on beta i tryed once to get it with an US itunes card. and its not possible with out a CC. that was back then, can somebody confirm this? i really want to try itunes match

There are already posts here saying the same thing, you need a cc.
