Hi guys.

For example I'm buying iMac in August. Sometime in the end of August. Obviously, 10.8 will be out by then.
When I will buy it, it will be pre-installed on it.

So, I will be able to use it on my 2011 MBP 13"? Or I'll have to buy it anyways?

Thanks!

You'll have to buy it for other computers.

Correct. See Apple's EULA below:

2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions.
A. Standard and Preinstalled Apple Software License. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, unless you obtained the Apple Software from the Mac App Store, on Apple-branded physical media (e.g., on an Apple-branded USB memory stick) or under a volume license, maintenance or other written agreement from Apple, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-branded computer at any one time. For example, these standard single-copy license terms apply to you if you obtained the Apple Software preinstalled on Apple-branded hardware.

So I'm in UK.
ML will cost about £13-14.

I have £15 iTunes gift card.

Can I redeem it from gift card?

OOOOOR.

I have US account too.
I have gift card of $15. I can get another one. Can I put two codes into redeem and then buy ML?

Thanks!!!

And another question.
Now I have Lion with all my info.

I'll be able to buy ML and then just install it without loosing my info, yes? It will be like a simple update? You know, install, restart and thats it?

Yes, you can do it as a normal upgrade (instead of a clean install) - just make sure that you have a backup in case something goes wrong. I also repair permissions before and after the update, just in case.

Thats bad. I'm of on my holiday and I have no harddrives to back up for about two weeks from now. I want to get my hands on now!

If I'll repair just permissions, Is there possibility to loose my info by doing repair permissions?

Of course not; the backup is recommended in case something goes wrong during the upgrade process. Improbable, but it can happen. My suggestion: just wait a little longer or at least burn a DVD with the critical files.

ML is just like any other app, so you can use iTunes credit to buy it. That's what I did with Lion, and that's what I'll be doing tomorrow. :)
Just FYI, ML will be £13.99
