Hi all
I am currently looking for the best way to shop for (actually, to ask my friend to do it) a 17" 1920x1200 MBP near Palo Alto.
Apple sales and returns policy says that customized products can only be returned when "dead on arrival". Which means that when I select high-resolution screen option in apple.com online shop, this automatically waives my 14 days return right. Is it so? The only remaining protection would be the warranty - which is not going to work with, say, 6 dead pixels on the screen.
I would even agree to risk 10% restocking fee.
How do you think, if a physical Apple store has such 1920x1200 glossly model in stock and we buy it and decide to return within 14 days, would this be permitted?
