Buying MBP in Apple Store ?

I am going to head out to the Apple Store today to pick up a MBP. Is there a date of manufacture I can look for on the boxes that will tell me if it has the new battery so I don't have to do the exchange?

And is there a date that is known when they started using the new Logic Boards?

You may twist off the Apple employee. They will just bring a box up from the back when you say what you want. Poor guy, having to schlep boxes back and forth.

There is some code in the serial number etc that tells you the factory and week of production. I can't remember how it breaks down. Maybe you can find something here.

Picked my new baby up today. I got a week 31 build and so far she's quite as a church mouse.

I did manage to find one MBP in the apple store that had the clicking problem under the right speaker. The sells rep looked shocked when I showed him.
