I just joined mobile me and im in the free trail period but i saw amazon has it for like 69.00

how does it work

does it come with an activation code, and where do i register it at on my mobile me site?

It will come with a code. You activate the code to your account at:

I had an active MobileMe subscription when I bought a new Macbook Pro that came with an offer to buy MobileMe for $69. I was only 4 months into my first year but the Apple Genius said you could just enter the activation code on my account and it will automatically renew for another year once the original subscription expires. I imagine you could do the same.

It'll stack the subscriptions so you could enter both codes now and you'll be good for 2 years, that way you don't have to worry about losing the box over the next year.

Also, keep in mind that if you opt for Amazon's free shipping, it may take a couple weeks so don't buy it a few days before your subscription runs out, leave plenty of time.
