Just wanted to know if this is a good deal. I don’t know what and if Apple will bring new MacBook to the market this year. so I want to transition away from Windows and start learning and using OS X.

2013 Apple Macbook Air 13"
I7 1.7ghz
256ssd
8gb ram.
HighSierra 10.13.3
227cycles on battery

$550.

Thanks.

Yes, it is a good deal. Microcenter in Rockville has MBA Early 2014 with I5, 4 Gb and 128 Gb SSD for $599 plus tax (6%). 227 cycles on battery leaves you with about 773 cycles left to use and if you take care of battery it will be many years until it needs replacement.

It's a good deal I'd say. Nice configuration with the 256GB storage, 8GB RAM and i7. That i7 put it pretty much on par with the 2017 Air performance-wise.

Thanks everyone. I’ll try to pick it up this week.

Edit.
On my way to pick it up now.

Happy to report, I'm posting from my new/used MacBook Air.

Few scuff marks under the chasy, but other wise its in great condition, works as advertised. Time to retire my 9 year old Dell Inspiron.

Thanks again.

Yeah I’ve been watching their website for the past few month and just couldn’t pay that much for base model even if it is a refurb.

I checked the serial on this MacBook Air and it was built in March 2014.
