Buying my iPad from the US, I'm in aus -- a little issue

Hey all,

I decided to buy an iPad and have it shipped to a friend who would then ship it to me.
However, I've gotten a payment failed e-mail from Apple, I've figured its because I put the billing info (name, address etc...) as their info, not mine... primarily because I was unable to fill out all the info properly such as state, zip, etc...

So, I'm trying to figure out how to get it to work...
I've listed all my normal information as I would normally, however it won't let me put an AUS state or zip in because... it thinks I live in the US.

I've set all the shipping information to their info though, which is fine... but the billing info won't go through without the same info that's registered to my debit card... aaaaaaaa I want my iPad.
Am I able to do anything to get it working? I'm guessing I can't...? Other than maybe ask them to pay for it and then I'll pay them back, but they might not want to do that

I had the same issue - i am in the UK.
I called my bank and they had flagged it as a fraudulent purchase, once i told them it was me, i retried and it was accepted.
I had put the billing address as the re-shippiers address i am having the ipad shipped to.

Probably not going to work with a debit card. Try a credit card.
