I want to buy 2GB Crucial RAM for my Macbook. I was just wondering if i took this RAM to the Apple Store, if they would install it for me. Would it cost me anything?

It would most definately cost, and they may advise you to use Apple RAM.

In fact, they may just plain refuse to install any RAM unless it's Apple RAM.

Apple Stores won't install 3rd party RAM or any other 3rd party hardware like a HDD either for that matter. It's very easy to do yourself though, the instructions are here.
