Buying RAM online in the UK

This seems to be a predominantly US based forum....but living in the UK, I'm searching for the best and cheapest place to buy RAM for my new Intel iMAc online.....I'd appreciate some good advice :)
 
I used a combination of discount codes and joining a cashback website, believe it or not but Crucial ended up being the cheapest! I started a thread here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/228073/ that explains what I did.... I'm not sure when Crucial will end their 5% sale though but if it has finished then you should still be able to save something like 12% of the list price.

I did find a few places that stock Kingston RAM but the prices are all over the place so it would involve a fair bit of searching around and off the top of my head I can't remember where the cheapest place was.

You could also try Offtek they seem to sell RAM that is priced similar to Crucial...(they also have a 7% cashback deal on Quidco)

Oh...in case you're wondering...I do like Quidco!!! :D
 
Don't worry there are a lot of UK posters here.

If you want crucial memory (which quite a few people regard as the best, myself included) then go to dabs.com and buy it cheaper there than from crucial themselves. You may pay a bit more but they have an excellent reputation for making solid error free RAM.
 
There's also Orca. £75 for 1GB. A few have recommended them before but I've never used them - always use Crucial.
I also do the same thing as Addo - works out very well.

Having recommended Scan above I have to admit that my current Mac Book Pro has 1Gb of Orca sourced Transcend RAM in it. I've had this machine for about 6 months and had no issues with the RAM at all.

I also just did this, posted reply to Addo's original thread. Anyhow got 512 stick for £37 for my iBook. Good price.
 
Thanks for all your suggestions guys.....I've found a 1Gb stick on orca for about £70.....maybe it's possible to get cheaper but they seem to have a good reputation, I'll probably go with that :)
