Hi,

Some questions for anyone that had already bought items using Apple TV:

The items that you purchased using apple tv are stored as usually in your Itunes library( music, movies folders...) and then synced to your Apple TV?
Or the items are stored directly in the Apple TV HDD? In that case you need to sync back to your library? Is that possible?

Thx

If you purchase them on the Apple TV, they will automatically sync back to your host iTunes computer the next time it syncs. (Assuming you have a syncing host). Until such time, it will reside on the Apple TV.

I bought the song Rockstar (Nickelback) last night through the Apple TV. When I try to sync back to iTunes, I get an error saying that the song did not sync since my computer is not authorized and tell me to choose "Store" and "Authorize Computer". I have done that a couple of times, but the song still does not sync. Everytime I try to "Authorize Computer", it tells me that I have successfully authorized 1 out of my 5 machines. However, as soon as I sync again, I continue to get the same error msg and it just forgets the fact that I just authorized the computer 10 seconds ago!

Any suggestions?

Question, I purchased a non HD movie on ATV and I cannot get it back to my iTunes library. Is there a way to do this as I have seen conflicting comments on this.

I was going to rente a HD movie for watching tonight and I was planning on renting it through iTunes and then watching it later on my ATV. While at the iTunes store it states HD is only available on ATV. Is that right? So I need to buy the HD movie from my ATV? BTW I can't seem to find the list of HD movies on iTunes as I see on my ATV.

You cannot purchase HD movies. You can only rent them.

If you want to rent an HD movie, you need to rent directly from your Apple TV. Apple has allowed HD rentals/downloads/streaming only to the Apple TV. anything you purchase/rent through your computer's iTunes will be SD.
