Buying TV Shows [Question]

I just got my Apple TV, and I absolutely love it. However upon buying up TV shows, I found out Homeland (SHOWTIME) is not available in the US iTunes. But it's available everywhere else. I understand why, SHOWTIME isn't available outside of the US, so they want you to sign up to be able to watch it (in the states). What sucks is, I actually do have SHOWTIME, and can watch the entire series now on Demand through my provider.

But I really wanted to own the show in 1080p. I find the quality on iTunes to be better than the quality that airs on TV (as most airs in 1080i or 720p). And I also love Homeland.

So my questions are this: how could I go about buying it in another region? I know I would have to switch my account to the region. And I could fill in an address that is over there. But would I be able to replace my credit card with an iTunes card of that region? Or will it not even give me that option? I don't want to create a new account, because then Homeland won't be with all my other stuff that I've purchased over the years.

Or is it just best to wait, and not worth the hassle. =/

Why are you trying to Buy TV shows when you can have them downloaded for free. I don't know , there must be some reason but I would still suggest you to compromise on your reason and try not to buy tv shows instead try to download them for free.

If you can wait, the BluRay is due for release on August 28th and then you can use HandBrake to rip the episodes to your iTunes collection:

I would also recommend you buy the Blu-Ray and make digital copies yourself. This will give you the highest quality, most content (extras, etc) at the best price. It will take time and eats up HDD space of course but, those are reasonable compromises.

When the DVD/Blu-ray is released, it should also become available on iTunes. It's the same for other Showtime shows like Dexter.
