Hello everyone. I’ve found a 2017 MacBook Pro for an extremely low price. It has touchbar, 3.5Ghz, 16 Gig of RAM and 512gb ssd. The seller sent me the serial number. I can see it still has AppleCare until July 2020. I can’t find on any other serial number look up but if I remember correctly BTO won’t show up. He also wants to use the following service, which I’ve never heard of, to sell the MacBook Pro. https://randlogisticsdirect.com/how-does-third-party-work I’m not sure because the price is like insanely low. To good to be true but you know it could be that one time where someone just needs some money and selling legitimately. Any thoughts?? Thanks Tim

1. its coming with fullset? means include box, manual guide, longchord (please make sure serial number at body, box and when running mac is same)
2. please check for screen carefully.
3. make sure your can using icloud :D

## FYI, if no serial number unavailable at about mac, you cannot login using imessage/facetime.

Thanks. I have the serial number. I’m feeling like it’s a scam. Still thinking about it since he wants next to nothing

This is literally happening to me too. The seller told me to use that website since he's out of town and will try to ship it in 2-days... Literally does not make sense for him to do that because how will you ship the laptop if you're out of town? Unless you brought the laptop with you but that's just too much work for such a low price to sell. Esp when it's a 2017 model with touchbar and everything.
The guy was selling his laptop for $260 by the way which is a very odd number. Why not round it up to $300 lolll. Not a very smart way to scam people.

EDIT: I came across this post by Googling the shipping website to check and see if it's a legitimate shipping site. Seems like it's not. Luckily I came across this post, so thank you for posting this as I was curious.

I bet it’s the same guy!!!! He wants $260 for it. I’ve moved on. He never answered questions about AppleCare and where it would be shipping from. He just stated that he would take care of setting up the shipping account. That changed my mind.

I saw the same offer and received an email with photos and serial #. I think it is likely a scam. "Out of town" situation was immediate flag to me. There were other flags too.
I checked the domain name on scamdoc.com and it has 1% of trust index and infected by some malware:
Just for reference I put my own domain and website I created 2 months ago to see the index and it was 80% which is expected I assume. So definitely fishy.
