iPhone Bypass LS alert, straight to banner

Is there a way to bypass the alert notifications on the lockscreen to the banner type?

When you get a notification on the lockscreen, you get an alert first, then if you don't check it and your screen times out, it changes to the banner type. Is there a way to just get the new notifications as banners?

Funny you just posted this. I came to post the same question.

I am pretty sure LockInfo and ISX does this but I would like to do it without either of those. Is it possible?
