C&C Zero Hour - constant freezing on Snow Leopard

Hey guys, before I updated my Mac to Snow Leopard, it runs Command and Conquer Zero Hour perfectly with no constant freezing at all!

However, after installing Snow Leopard and reinstalling the game, it will freeze a lot. In the main menu, it will be running very smoothly for 3 to 10 seconds then it starts freezing for a bit then goes back smoothly again. This process kept repeating.

Any solutions? Thanks in advanced. This is the ASPYR Mac version - NOT Windows.

My Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare also freezes a lot after snow leopard update, even when not playing games I start to encounter freezes much more often than I did before the upgrade.
