Hi, I been using my Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro 17 since February, and since this is a refurbished one I want to share my experience with those thinking on going to the refurbished way and are afraid of taking the risk...

I saved almost $500 bucks and I can't see a difference between my Mac and a "brand new" in the Apple Stores... maybe I lucky, but is in pristine condition without marks, scuffs or scratchs...

Really recommend taking in consideration the refurbished Macs, the savings paid my CS3 upgrade, which run fast in this beast...

Last week I was 2 days designing a corporate manual on site with a very demanding client (but very satisfied at the end), and the machine was flawless, everybody was impressed... that job alone paid the cost of the Mac and CS3 :)

congrats! i'm glad to hear that your MBP has been serving you well and has been problem free. mine, on the hand, a 15" MBP bought brand new has had so many problems.. ughh.... :p but glad for you anyhows! cheers!

While my 15" is perfect for me, I did toy with the idea of a 17" refubrbed C2D. Lovely machine, and for your work, the 17" is obviously a great choice. Congrats!

I have recommended the refurb section to a lot of people.
I got my 15" MBP from there recently. Everything is perfect...not a single defect.

Thanks for starting a thread for this!!!
