iPad Pro Cable issues with iPad Pro 2021

Hi everyone,

I have a the following usb-c cable. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fasgear-Ma...asgear+usb+c+cable&qid=1624041557&sr=8-3&th=1

It was working just fine, but it has now starting acting weird. When I use it to hook my iPad to my iMac, the iMac won't detect the iPad, but it does detect other devices such as my Samsung T7, worth noting it does work for charging. Also, I Can use this same cable to connect my iPad into the same Samsung T7 SSD

Other USB-c cables I have such as the iPad standard one or the USB c 3.1 gen 2 that came with the Samsung T7 do detect the iPad, so I am going nuts not understanding why that specific cable works for everything except the iPad-iMac connection.

Anyone has any idea of why this could be?

I bought 2 different types of HDMI to USB-C connectors/cables and neither worked with my new iPad Pro. Ended up getting the Apple adapter and of course that works fine.
