I want to get all the cables managed behind my TV unit. I have around 6 peripherals in the Stand and there is one large hole in the back where all the cables are fed through.

I have zip ties but I'm not sure how to do it. because the cords to the TV go one way and then cords to the outlet go another. Even if I zip tie them up I have a feeling it will still just look like a clump of cables.

Anyone have any advice or solutions to making my crap look managed?

Thanks all!

I'm looking into cable management too. Hopefully, I'll be inspired this weekend to do so. Anyway, I've seen articles on lifehacker.com about this. Try searching there.

ZOMG! My mind was just BLOWN by that paper towel tube idea. I MUST do that!

One thing that's not on there and that works for me though... just scoot your desk or whatever it is that everything is mounted on a little more towards yourself. Three inches is plenty. It doesn't make the cords more tidy, but it DOES make them much easier to manage when you need to.
