How would I set up a cable modem to my G3 iMac? I know I just plug the cable from the modem to the Mac but how do I set the internet up? Matter of fact, how do I set everything up? Please help thanks.

Cable Modem and G3 iMac...

The cable line to the cable modem, than an ethernet cord from the modem to the jack on the iMac. Then depending on what OS you're running, either go into network from system prefs and make sure built in ethernet is selected to be using DHCP, or in OS 9 in TCP/IP the same.
