We all have Facebook or Twitter or Instagram apps blowing up to 500 MB or so right? Right now if we want to clear that space we need to delete the app, go to the App Store and reinstall it. This is really annoying. Instead of this hassle it would be nice to have a storage management system like on the macOS Sierra or a button to clear the app cache. Thoughts?

Not sure that feedback for the beta would really get you anywhere. That is for reporting bugs, not for implementing new features from the ground up. www.apple.com/feedback is a good place for the suggestion though.
As for the feature itself, I could see it being helpful. Although even in Sierra you don't really have the option to clear app caches on a per-app basis, that I can tell. Third party options like CleanMyMac will do this, however I don't ever see a 3rd party iOS app ever being allowed that kind of system level access.
Personally, I don't find it too troublesome to just delete and reinstall every so often.

There are categories in the feedback app for new feature requests or enhancements to existing features/areas.
Didn't Apple include a new API to this effect in iOS10? I'm sure I read that somewhere

I absolutely agree with you. A huge wish for years. Some apps do have a cache cleaning build in somewhere in the app others don't. Apple should make this mandatory and have some kind of way to clean multiple apps in one go. There are some third party apps in the App Store that do clean cache a bit.
So far I have been using wondershare safe eraser to achieve this process of cleaning and deleting change memory applications, buts its time consuming it takes up to 1/2 hr or more, have to disable "find my phone", un-encrypt back up, and not to mention thr multiple iPhone restart that's como at the process. It would be much easier to have a built in utility run, give the user selection buttons to rid the change memory not needed or to reset the app to factory setting w/o having to reinstall (pretty much in the footsteps of android).
I know Apple App store app has it. Tapping any of the lower menus in quick successions (~10 times) clears out the cache.
Why not try it yourself? Just tap the featured button 10 times.

I would also be okay with this method if Apple made it possible for third party apps to implement this feature, like you tap on the Facebook's News Feed or Twitter's Home button 10 times and it clears the cache. Since every app is designed with the 4 or 5 menus at the bottom I think it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

If this is try what an awful way to have this handled. I did hear that if you are low on storage and need to clear a bit of cache you can select a movie in the iTunes store that is too large (and then do not buy it) e.g. 2-3GB if you still have only 1GB left which should clear up your cache.
But this won't help ofcourse if you want to achieve some extra space when you still have e.g. 5GB left.
The tap to clear thing actually works, but only for the app in question. To do it, say, in the iBooks app, simply tap any one of the icons at the bottom of the home page 10x relatively quickly. After the 10th tap the screen will blank for just a second signifying that it is clearing the cache. You can repeat this in any Apple created app that has a home page configuration with buttons at the bottom, like iBooks or the App Store (not sure if there are others).Are you serious? 10 times?

The movie thing does work, too, but you do actually have to select "buy". The key is to pick a movie that is larger than the amount of space you have remaining. If you do this, you will not actually buy the movie, as the system will clear the cache trying to buy it and then report back to you that the movie is too large to purchase. The key is finding a large enough movie, because if you don't, you might accidentally clear enough cache and actually buy the movie and have it install. A recommended movie is "The Two Towers" from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It's over 8GB, so unless you have a large capacity device that had a huge cache built up, you should be OK.

Thanks for the tip but still not the best possible solution if you want to clear cache on your device on both Apple and third party apps. I hope Apple will add this feature soon to clear cache for a selection and/or all apps both third party and Apple apps.
