Hi all,

Anyone got the Caching service to successfully run yet?

I'm downloading stuff from my mac that's not appearing on the Cache Used in the server app.

Thanks

Makosuke

Mine is working fine as well; cached the entire Mavericks installer, and several app installers and updaters.

Two things to check: It won't work if your server is on a public network (when I tried to enable it on the work server, I got an error because the work server has a DNS entry (server.domain.com), although it's not actually available to the outside internet), and are you sure you've downloaded something from the Mac (or other) App Store that would be cached by it?

Mavericks caching server to assist in silently pushing apps, ibooks (via mdm) and updates to devices in the very near future. Must get this working!!!
