I'm running 9.0.1 on a 6s. When music is playing and the screen is off, I can't open the calculator from the swipe up control center on the lock screen. It works after unlocking. Anyone else run across this?

Wouldn't work for half the day yesterday, even making sure control center was accessible from lock screen. Charged over night and woke up to it working fine. Go figure.

Looks like this issue has returned. Not sure what causes it but it opens fine when the phone is unlocked. If the phone is locked, attempting to open it brings the calculator up for half a second then it closes.

Try the update 9.0.2.

I don't know. Can't figure out. Updated to 9.0.2, did hard reboot. It opens fine from the swipe up when unlocked but from the lock screen, it opens then immediately crashes and closes. The other functions in the control center work (camera, flashlight, clock/alarm) but calculator just won't stay open. Surprised no one else has this issue.

My daughters iPhone 6 is having the exact same issue. Have tried everything. Nothing has fixed it. iOS 9.0.2

If anyone figures this out, please let me know.

No problems here with iPhone 5s running 9.0.1 with accessing calculator via the lock screen. I will try tonight with my iPad mini2 running 9.0.1

This was happening to me on my fully updated 6s, and it's been happening since I got my phone but I kept brushing it off. Well today I decided I'd finally try to figure it out and I either got lucky or fell into a little trick. Like most people everything but calculator worked (why I've waited so long to do anything about it) and none of the hard reboots or setting resets worked. So with my phone locked (and I do use the password) I opened camera, then opened calculator and it worked! I then let it go black, turned it on to the lock screen again and opened calculator and it stayed open! Hope that helps.

Tried your trick on my 6S and it doesn't work for me. Still just crashes and goes back to lock screen when it switches to calculator. I reported it to Apple last week already. Same on both 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 for me.

I'm having the exact same problem, I have the 6s and it's only the calculator that won't work. Hopefully Apple will fix it soon!

After playing with it for awhile, I think I've figured out a possible cause. When in "Standard" view the calculator will not open from the lock screen, but when in "Zoomed" view, it works without issue. I also have the Wallet zoom issue when viewing in "Standard" view, so maybe this is related.
