The calculator on my phone always has the calcluation of 10,314 in it. I have tried clearing it but when I open the app it’s still there. This is a strange one unless I am missing something.

Did you try hitting the 'list' icon up in the top left to bring up your history, clicking "Edit", and clearing all the past calculations?
Yes I did all of that as well and it is still doing silly things.
I regret updating to 18.
Well I went to the local Apple Store and apparently this is a bug which is fixed in 18.1.
Some of the staffs phones are doing it as well.
Never ever known iOS to be as buggy as this, it never used to be.
Can’t even try going back to 17.7 as my Apple Watch won’t work because it’s on watchOS 11.
I will never update to a new iOS on day one again.

It’s clearly not 100% because on 18.0.1 calculator works normally.
I haven’t had any issues with iOS 18. YMMV.
