Hi everyone,

I've been facing a frustrating issue with my CalDigit TS4 docking station when using it with my MacBook running macOS 14.4. Every time I restart my MacBook, the docking station fails to automatically reconnect to all my peripheral devices (like aux speakers, USB drives, SSDs), except for the external monitor which works fine. The only workaround I've found is to physically disconnect and then reconnect the docking station's cable to the MacBook, which is quite inconvenient.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm curious to know if this is a common problem and if there are any known fixes or workarounds that I haven't come across yet. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you applied any and all necessary firmware updates for the dock from Caldigit’s site?

Thunderbolt Ports USB PD (Power Delivery) Firmware Updater:

macOS Updater
*Last updated on 01/31/24. Requires macOS 12 or above. This PD firmware v.4308 is to improve USB device connections over sleep mode.

Did you update it? Remember to unplug everything except for the MacBook when doing the updating

I do have this version (v.4308) already installed on TS4. Seems to be a new problem wich came with MacOS 14.4. So, Yes, me either. I do have this problem, too.
