Caldigit USB3-esata PCI-ecard and 10.11

On their website I read:
FASTA-6GU3: 2-Port eSATA 6G & 2-Port USB3 PCI-E Adapter

• USB3 Driver for Mac OS 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 & 10.9. Driver does NOT support 10.10.

Mine works with 10.10, though. But I read that the MacPro crashes with 10.11 El Capitan and the Caldigit driver installed. (crashes while booting and restarts on and on)
Is it possible to remove the Caldigit driver so that the card doesn't work on a 10.11 partition and use the card on a different partition e.g. 10.6.8 or 10.8.5?
I won't remove the card. I need it for fast usb3 interface but if it works on a different partition it would be sufficient for me.

I contacted the Caldigit website but they didn't answer to my question. The only thing they did was that they tried to sell me the pro-version at a price reduction of -40% if I sent them back my original card. But I'm not going to buy a new USB card from them. Shipping costs are expensive and I will have to pay additional taxes (VAT) if they ship from the States.
Instead, I will keep my old card and not upgrade to El Capitan unless I am sure it doesn't hang when there are no drivers installed. It doesn't matter in this case because I can still use it booting another partition with 10.8.5 or 10.6.8.
Is there anyone who can confirm that the MacPro boots when the USB3 card is installed with no drivers?

I installed El Capitan on a different partition and not on my main SSD. It didn't crash without the Caldigit driver and it crashed with the Caldigit driver. First impressions of the system are disappointing. I ran Cinebench and the OpenGL dropped from 73fps to 63fps, while the CPU dropped from 810 to 770. And Word 2011 is unusuable for me, since it crashes every time I try to edit a document with clipart, drawings and formulas.
I stay with Yosemite.
