I added a rendevous to my calendar for 12:30 today as well as inputting the address. I created an alert to go off 2 hours before but got NO alert nor was there anything on the notifications. As far as I can see I set everything up correctly in settings. iPhone 6 on ios 10.0.2. Are alerts working for everyone else on ios 10?

Quite odd, both calendar and reminders notifications seem to be working the same as before on my iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.2.

Having the same problem.
Iphone 6 with iOS 10.1.1
I set a Calendar alert and nothing happens. (I had grown to like the feature 'Time to Leave')But alas, I dont get any notification or anything- I tried regular 1 hour before too with no luck.

My temporary solution is to just set alerts on the Reminders App. There, they are called 'Alarms' not 'Alerts' and those seem to be working fine, I tested one and it went off perfectly.

Someone please come with a fix!!

I haven't had any issues with my Calendar alerts. Check your Calendar alert Settings in Settings > Notifications. Turn it off, then back on.
Be sure each category is set as desired.

This happens to me periodically. I think a restart helps. (I once posited that the problem starts when a Calendar alert and a Reminder alert are set for the same time... haven't been able to verify.)

I was always able to send or receive invites. Lately it has not been working. If I add a location to my calendar invitation it does not work. If there is no location it works fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

A while back, I was having issues inviting my wife to events. Apple had us both sign out of iCloud, then sign back in. That worked.

I have the problem with the calendar notifications as well with my third party calendar app Week Calendar together with my Google Calendar but I also heard from other people with third party calendars that had it.
I'm receiving the notifications now via the Apple Calendar app though.
I already had notifications on for WeekCalendar but now also for Apple Calendar. The only who which is working is the Apple calendar one.

I had this issue with my calendar alerts on my phone and watch. I found this on another forum. Looks like there are two places you can control the sound and vibration alert. I had to do both #1 and 2 and now everything works on my phone and watch.

1. Settings-Notifications Scroll down to "Calendar Alerts" and then select the Alert Tone you want to use Or
2. Settings-Sounds Scroll down to "Calendar Alerts" and then select the Alert Tone you want to use.
3. Check the "Do Not Disturbed" times. Settings-Notifications-Do Not Disturb.
4. Settings-Notifications-Calendar and make sure that the "Alerts" feature is enabled under the "Alert Style" option.
