Calendar.app in Ventura

I am using the Calendar.app on my 2020 iMac, SSD, macOS 13.2.1 and today I noted this number 3

I have read through the Apple User Guide to Calendars for Ventura but still can't dope out what the 3 refers to.
I am sharing that Calendar with only one person and there are no pending meetings.
Anyone have the answer to this one???

Yes. I get nothing when I do that.

Three fantastic links and thank you so much for pointing them out. I now know to click on the inbox at the top of that screenshot I sent to see what I am being notified about & what action needs to be taken.
