Calendar app users: how do you personally use the app (or other 3rd party app)?

If you use Calendar app, or a similar other 3rd party app, what to you use it for? What sorts of events do you personally include in your calendar? What is your alert time for events usually?

I use it all the time. I love the fact that it auto detects events in my emails, and puts a prompt above them. I've never been so organized.

I usually set the alert times for one day before, and then one hour before.

I use Week Calendar.....the week-at-glance view is indispensable.

I use the stock app, recently I subscribed to two calendars, one for UEFA and the other for Copa America, only those who're into soccer knows what I'm talking about
